The Creston Community Forest has been constructing road in the Birch Creek area near Kitchener throughout the month of January. The road constructed will lead to both conventional logging and cable logging blocks which will be harvested throughout the spring. The recent road construction also included the replacement of bridge timbers on our bridge at Lower Birch. Please be aware of active logging and road construction if you happen to be using either the Birch Creek or Russell Creek Forestry Roads from January to April.
